Item #: SCP-4161
Object Class: N/A
Special Containment Procedures: Site-03 is a compound located in Western Siberia dedicated solely to the containment of SCP-4161. The primary vector of containment is a 5,801 meter borehole drilled directly into the Earth, at the bottom of which is a square 5m cell
Description: SCP-4161, formerly D-293 & Doctor Jacques Boucher, is a sapient entity with Class 6 ontokinetic abilities. Additionally, SCP-4161 is highly resistant to all forms of damage tested against it. The extent of SCP-4161's abilities is currently unknown.
SCP-4161 was created by the Foundation Department of Inter-Anomaly Experimentation as part of Project LONDON BRIDGE, shortly before the department was dissolved entirely.

O5-7: Sit back down.
SHARP: Excuse me?
O5-7: Let me rephrase that. If you want to know what happened to your Project Proposal, I suggest you take a seat.
Sharp sits in the wooden chair in front of the desk.
O5-7: You probably don't know me, do you?
SHARP: I'm afraid I don't, sir.
O5-7: Heh. Used to be a time that our faces were everywhere in the Foundation. Not anymore, it seems. My name hasn't been used since before you were born, but you know me as oh-five-seven.
SHARP: O-oh.
O5-7: Surprised, huh?
SHARP: I-I wasn't aware you were going to be handling my case.
O5-7: I'm not. Normally your proposal would've sat at the bottom of some yellow-bellied paper-pushing secretary's desk for six months and then rejected because he had a bad day. But I've taken an interest in your little experiment.
SHARP: You have?
O5-7: Yes. Tell me, how long've you been working here?
SHARP: At Site-19? Abo-
O5-7: No, the Foundation itself.
SHARP: Um, I think it's going to be 8 years this June, sir.
O5-7: Mmm. Not long enough.
SHARP: Sorry?
O5-7: No fault of your own. Just a consequence of your age. I was hoping you'd remember the good days. Before… this.
O5-7 gestures around the conference room.
O5-7: It wasn't always like this.
SHARP: Like what?
O5-7: Like a fucking office. The place reeks of bureaucracy. It wasn't like this fifteen, twenty years ago.
SHARP: What was it like, then?
O5-7: We were pioneers of science. We changed the whole goddamn world. The Atreus Array, the SRAs, we even managed to exploit the fucking eel. Nowadays you have to fill out seventeen forms and take a piss test to borrow a pen.
SHARP: I- Why are you telling me this?
O5-7: I'm hoping you can help me change that.
SHARP: Me?
O5-7: You seem to have a good head on your shoulders. Did you know that they were considering dissolving the Department of Inter-Anomaly Experimentation before your proposal?
SHARP: Who's "they"?
O5-7: Not important. What is important is that I pushed your proposal through the committee. It's greenlit.
SHARP: Oh my god. Thank you.
O5-7: And I pulled a few strings, got you some nice little gifts. Access to some of our more… unique anomalies, and a whole Site to work out of. You're now the Head Researcher of Site-03.
SHARP: I… God, I can't believe this is happening.
O5-7: Just remember. Disappoint me, and both of us will suffer. I have the strength to weather the shitstorm that would fall upon us. I don't think you do.
SHARP: I won't disappoint you, sir. You have my word.
O5-7: Good man. Godspeed.

D-293 Initial Recruitment Interview

NOTE:
[BEGIN LOG]
SHARP: Good evening.
D-293: W-who are you people?
SHARP: Lord, did they not brief you at all?
Sharp looks to the guard, who shrugs.
SHARP: No matter, we'll fix that. Put simply, we represent an independent research group that has a vested interest in making sure humanity is protected from threats to its existence. And before you ask, no, I don't mean nukes or terrorism or or cancer. I mean threats that exist in such a conceptual space that they don't let me even talk about them.
D-293: L-Like what?
SHARP: The guards here don't have a clearance level high enough to know about them. There's no reason in hell you would.
D-293: But what do you want with me?
Sharp scoffs.
SHARP: Don't worry. You're suited for a different kind of research that we need just as desperately.
D-293: W-what do you mean?
SHARP: Testing. Don't worry, we'll brief you more when you get to the site. For now, just know that if you agree to this, you'll be back in the real world in no time at all.
Sharp leans down to D-293's left ear.
SHARP: Make the smart choice.

Height and weight are about average. Hume rating is well in the range of nonanomalous. I have to say, we picked a quality test subject, about as normal as it gets. Well, I say that, and then I remember she killed a person. On that note, I'd like to make an addition to the testing schedule: Semi-regular psychological check-ups. I can't imagine this kind of testing to be good for one's mental health, and keeping the subject complacent is rather important in this venture. I'd be more than happy to handle those myself, so don't worry about bringing in anyone else.
IF YOU'RE READING THIS, EVERYTHING BEYOND THIS IS WIP. STOP HERE.

Dr. Jacques Boucher

Slight drop-off in weight, accompanied by a sharp increase in height. Most of that is in the neck, which is slightly concerning based on how fragile her collarbone looks. Like it might snap with a touch. Actually, that's in regards to all her bones; she might be suffering from calcium deficiency. Regardless, she's not dead, so that's already a plus. I'm going to recommend a higher calorie diet to make up for that weight loss. Since we haven't exposed her to any ontokinetics yet, I don't think LCR will be a problem. Any fluctuations will probably just be in regards to us keeping so many anomalous things in one place.
Of note, I noticed bruises on her sternum during the check-up. I won't ask where they came from, but I strongly advise you to be more careful around her. It'd be different if she was an anomaly, but she's a person. Beyond that, damaging your test subject is inadvisable in all experiments.
Please refrain from referring to the test subject with gender-specific pronouns.

BOUCHER: Hey, D-293.
D-293: What do you want?
BOUCHER: Remember those therapy sessions I've been talking about? They finally got authorized!
D-293: Huh. I didn't think Sharp would clear those.
BOUCHER: Um, why's that?
D-293: I- Nothing. Forget I said anything.
BOUCHER: Are you sure?
D-293: I said I don't want to talk about it.
BOUCHER: Uh, okay.
Boucher and D-293 sit in silence. D-293 drums its fingers.
BOUCHER: How've you been feeling lately?
D-293: Sick.
BOUCHER: How's that?
D-293: Just, I feel rotten all the time.
BOUCHER: Like… pain? Because I can recommend that we up your dosages.
D-293: No, just… I don't know.
Both are silent.
BOUCHER: If you don't feel like talking right now, I can come back later.
D-293: No, no, I like the company. It gets lonely.
BOUCHER: It's gotta. That reminds me. we need to switch out your books and stuff. Do you have any requests?
D-293: No. It's not the same.
BOUCHER: What?
D-293: Everything feels… I'm going to go to bed.
BOUCHER: Uh, okay. I'll come back soon.
Boucher exits the cell to the elevator room.

Site-03 Report, Incident 18
PROJECT LONDON BRIDGE
Department of Inter-Anomaly Experimentation
On March 04, 1977, D-293 breached containment and attempted to escape Site-03. Through currently unknown means, it is believed D-293 collapsed the steel-reinforced elevator shaft leading to its cell and, using its grossly modified body structure, rapidly ascended the shaft. Site-03's on-site Mobile Task Force, Beta-2, was caught off-guard and failed to halt the breach. Sixteen soldiers were killed and and twenty-three seriously injured.
D-293 exhibited properties during the incident that have never been observed during experimentation. Such properties included rapid growth of limb extensions, the formation of explosive cysts across the torso filled with hydrochloric acid, the manifestation of miniature gravity wells, the telepathic manipulation of the human brain, the telekinetic manipulation of internal body structures, and ectoentropicity.
Station 17 of the Atreus Orbital Scranton Reality Anchor Array was deployed to order to reinforce local reality on the area. This, combined with an assault from MTF-Nu 7 ("Hammer Down"), forced D-293 to retreat. Shortly before reentering its containment cell, it entered the medical clinic, inside which seventeen researchers were hiding. All researchers reported that D-293 had seized Dr. Jacques Boucher before rapidly exiting the building and reentering its containment cell.
No activity has been recorded from the cell as of writing.
