Special Containment Procedures: Due to SCP-6666's extremely low occurrence rate and difficulty of reproduction, it effectively requires no containment. Images posted online containing SCP-6666 are to be tagged by I/O PUBLIC DAEMON and investigated.

Description: SCP-6666 is a phenomenon affecting certain users of the popular online encyclopedia Wikipedia. Approximately 0.9% of users that vandalize public pages¹ will spontaneously disappear within 24 hours of making such an edit. Any clothes worn or objects carried by subjects will not disappear with them.

Within five meters of the location of disappearance, the logo of the Wikipedia Counter-Vandalism Unit, a volunteer group dedicated to reverting and preventing vandalism to pages, will appear burned into a surface.

Within 24 hours of demanifestation, several media files will appear on the device the subject performed the edit from. Files encountered can be PNG, SVG, JPEG, MP4, MP3, and OGG files. In addition, all files found on the device will simultaneously appear on the Wikimedia Commons, an online public domain media archive operated by the Wikimedia Foundation. All files found are unique to the subject.

Prior Activity: Edited the "Magnetism" page to include a reference to the Insane Clown Posse single "Miracles" on 26/04/2017. Parents reported him missing from his room several hours later.

Of the files on this page, Crying newborn baby.ogg and Man Crying.ogg were found to be preexisting, nonanomalous files uploaded to the site.

wasteofspace.ogg

18 seconds of metal objects repeatedly colliding, with something muffling the collision. In the last two seconds, a tearing sound is heard before abruptly cutting out.

branding.ogg

48 seconds of steam hissing, interspersed with sizzling and muffled grunts of pain. Soft giggling followed by shushing is audible throughout.

birth.ogg

27 seconds of a rhythmic thudding, each followed by the splattering of something wet. File contains two audio tracks; one contains soft continuous moaning that is drowned out by the thudding from the other.

A masculine voice saying "I apologize for my actions and the harm I have caused." Subject's parents have identified this as his voice, though it is hoarse and shaky. He is heard repeating the statement as the file cuts off.

Image's EXIF information located it to Jackson and Sons Scrap in Savannah, Georgia. Following an investigation, subject's corpse was discovered bound and pressed to death between two cars pulled together by a large electromagnet attached to subject's body.

subject tabs slowly reveal that they've been abducted and are being tortured by "a little girl", probably in some ironic way relevant to the vandalism edit they made. this is revealed through files on each subject's computer; ideally files also on wikimedia. each subject's body is suddenly returned with some message from wikipe-tan. subject three's thing was somehow related to copyright and his body is returned at the end with the public domain symbol branded into his chest. need a stinger at the end, maybe a wikipe-tan holding a sign with a threat to the foundation for using non CC images.
