Description: SCP-4979 is an immobile road roller with spatial distortion capabilities.
SCP-4979 is indistinguishable from nonanomalous models except for its drum, which is mostly composed of an iridium-iron alloy.
SCP-4979 is unable to move from its current position relative to the ground. Upon starting the engine and attempting to drive SCP-4979, space in front of it will contract, bringing any objects in its path towards it and crushing them with the drum.
If SCP-4979's operator attempts to use it to crush a person, SCP-4979 will instead use spatial distortion to draw the operator towards its drum instead, then autonomously attempt to crush the original target as well.
Objects crushed by SCP-4979 are absorbed into the drum through unknown means; the drum is currently estimated to weigh over 70 tons.
Operating SCP-4979 in reverse elongates space in front of it; through careful maneuvering and use of SCP-3738, Foundation researchers have succeeded in returning the immediate area to within 1% of its baseline spatial topography.
