Special Containment Procedures: The Foundation has dissolved all local and federal governments and has assumed immediate global governmental control. Individuals possessing a net worth approaching $500,000 USD are to have their wealth redistributed immediately by the Foundation.
Description: SCP-8725 is a phenomenon which occurred on 21/08/2022 in which an unknown force exerted pressure on all human beings. The levels of pressure varied; with the vast majority not reporting any deviations from baseline, some little more than a faint tickling sensation, and a minority exploding into viscera at the start of the event. Approximately 10% of humanity was neutralized by SCP-8725, and 15% were hospitalized due to the resultant injuries.
As a result of SCP-8725, many nations faced widespread anarchy due to the deaths of various politicians. Additionally, multiple corporations experienced the loss of executive-level position-holding personnel. In order to prevent the spread of further chaos, a BK-Broken Masquerade Scenario was declared and the Foundation became the global acting government as of 23/08/2022.
Confirmed deaths as a result of SCP-8725 include Mukeshi Ambani, Bobby Kotick, Mark Zuckerberg, Changpeng Zhao, Iris Dark, Mr. Royer, and O5-7. The remains of the aforementioned were discovered largely liquefied at the bottom of craters.

Addendum 8725.1: Immediately following the declaration of the Foundation becoming the sole global government, the remaining members of the O5 Council were affected by SCP-8725, destroying Site-01 in the process.
