Healing surges @ level 4: Use a bonus action to regain 1 hit die + con HP.
When you are healed, you may use a healing surge as a reaction.

1 action, 1 bonus action, 1 reaction, 1 object interaction. Will often give out 1 free skill check during turn for free, such as using a perception to see something on a monster or investigate an object. Up to DM interpretation.

I want to give lots of ways to heal 'for free' in exchange for deadlier combats.
