[Rav enters party, looking for Serena. Rav is somewhat uncomfortable, just because of loud music and crowded rooms. There are mentions of overt sexuality, and Rav is working up the gumption to go talk to someone, when someone talks to him instead. (Relieving.) Someone he recognizes but doesn't really know, who says hello and uses his name. He feels awkward, unable to remember this guy's name, but breezes past it to ask where Serena is. Guy comments: "Probably getting filled somewhere." He laughs. Rav chuckles politely. More seriously: "I'm not sure, last I saw her she was upstairs though, decent chance she's still there." He winks. Rav thanks him, and makes his way towards the stairs.
Some sight of very explicit sexuality, and some of the dynamic around that. Rav makes his way up the stairs, where it's marginally quieter, and hesitates to poke around — closed doors, moaning sounds. He hears Serena's voice. He wonders if he should wait outside the room — would that be creepy? Would it be weirder to knock than it would be creepy to stand outside and wait? He tries to remind himself of where he is and who he's thinking about, and knocks.
"Bit busy!" the guy's voice. A pause. "But you can poke your head in." Rav does so. "It's Rav," he announces himself, and feels stupid, because Serena's clearly already recognized his face. Serena's in the midst of intercourse, wearing only a (pushed up) shirt and (pushed aside) panties. "Oh! My ride!" she grinds against the dude: "Well, my other ride. You're done early!"
"I'm not," he clarifies.
"You're not?" she halts, the man makes a disappointed sound as she reaches over to the bedside table and checks her phone. "Oh! Sorry!"
"It's fine. There's no rush." Still, he feels antsy to get out. As Serena gets off the bed, she pulls down her shirt, a gray shirt with black text reading: PARTY SLUT.
The guy makes some pleas, and Serena asks if she can go fetch her replacement, half asking the guy and half asking Rav. Rav tries to re-emphasize there's no rush, Serena says she'll need to go talk to her replacement anyways, Rav waffles, and it turns out that the guy is staying in this room and Serena's gone to find her replacement.
Rav follows Serena back down into the party, and watches Serena navigate the crowd, where she gets much recognition, and some feels that she politely declines, to varying, but always yielding, reactions. She finds her replacement, and they have a conversation that Rav can't hear because the music is too loud, but the girl looks to be getting flustered and excited. Another lady joins the conversation, and eventually Serena removes the shirt — to some whooping — and the lady takes it. Rav feels increasingly uncomfortable being in the midst of people, and leans in to tell Serena that he's going to wait outside. She assures him she's literally just about done. "Okay!" he has to yell, because of the music. He moves towards the door and she mostly follows, being stopped a few times which she rushes, except for one person who she leans into to kiss while he grabs her ass. But it's quick, and she says something to him as well, and they disentangle.
He makes it to the front, and she says, somewhat more audible, that she needs to stop by the closet for her clothes. She steps into a room near the entryway, and emerges wearing appropriate winter-wear. (Rav has been burning up this whole time, wearing his stuff in this house.) They step outside, and Rav says: "Sorry to pull you away."
"It's good —"
Some people out front, smoking, asks about Serena, and she says: "Don't worry, Amber's taken up the mantle!"
"Amber?"
"First time! Go easy on her!" Serena makes a heart with her hands. "Catch you next time!"
Some groans, but they wish her a goodnight, some are excited about Amber. They depart, and they have to walk a little ways to get to Rav's car because the place was parked up. Serena explains that Amber's got a "guardian," so-to-speak, that's going to ghost her and make sure nothing gets hinky, which, she adds, is a good idea in general, but Serena feels like she can handle herself.
They have some conversation, and Serena asks Rav how his thing went.]
