SCP-4813: The Earth Is Not a Cold Dead Place
rating: +2+x

Item №: SCP-4813

Anomaly Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: (include_procedures)

Description: SCP-4813 is an entity which manifests in the (include_location) area, taking the form of a woman comprised of machinery and musical equipment. Examples of this include guitars forming the legs, keytars and drums assembling the arms, and amplifiers forming the torso. The head is noted to be normal in appearance, although silver in color with rivets in various parts of the face. Selective intangibility can be applied to any part of the body and most objects the entity can carry.

The entity displays two main behaviors, Aleph-4813 and Bet-4813.

Aleph-4813 involves the entity's manifestation in the proximity of a transgender individual (hereafter subject), typically in the 11 to 18 age range. Aside from the aforementioned details, no common background exists for subjects, though in most circumstances SCP-4813 manifests at times when subjects are stressed or experiencing other mental health issues.

On arrival, SCP-4813 will speak to the subject, presenting itself in a non-threatening and soothing manner. If the subject expresses a willingness to converse, the entity will talk to them about any issues they are facing, primarily listening while also offering advice and comfort. After a variable length of time SCP-4813 demanifests.

Audio from an Alpeh-4813 incident on (include_date) is available below.

Bet-4813 involves taking actions intended to spread awareness and support for transgender persons and topics. This includes:

  • Defacing transphobic posters, fliers, and similar media.
  • Generating unbranded informational pamphlets, supplying information on transgender issues and nearby LGBTQ+ centers.
  • Generating boxes storing transgender flag pins and apparel, found in schools.
  • Creating trans-positive street art.

Most materials produced this way possess a label of a stylized rendition of SCP-4813 giving a thumbs up gesture, accompanied by the phrase "keep on playing!".

The spontaneous nature of Bet-4813 incidents has prevented any form of direct observation. Currently the only means of tracking incidents is based on the trend of them to occurring in areas Alpeh-4813 subjects routinely visit. Similar difficulties have been faced with observing Alpeh-4813 incidents, which are compounded by the entity's use of acoustic anomalies to mask the content of conversations.

Foundation investigations have identified SCP-4813 as being PoI-7143 (online handle "starspark"), a member of GoI-5869 ("Gamers Against Weed"). Recovered chat logs indicate high levels of activity and routine interactions with other notable persons of interest.

No further personal details are known.
