SCP-XXXX: Recommended Daily Exposure

Item №: SCP-XXXX

Anomaly Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures:

Description: SCP-XXXX is a subterranean facility with walls composed of polystyrene and layered sheets of cellophane wrap. Based on trace seismic activity, SCP-XXXX is expanding outwards at an average rate of approximately 5 kilometres per year from its centre (located directly beneath Grantham, England); no expansion has ever been directly observed, so its method of doing so — and the sources of involved materials — are unknown. Superficial examinations of its interior suggest SCP-XXXX is entirely devoted to the production of gravy.

The nature of the interior of SCP-XXXX varies throughout the facility, and at the time of writing consists of a 12 km wide, 30 storey tall complex, complete with internal rail system and a variety of independent production lines. Incursions by personnel or drones are normally met with some amount of lethal force, either through mounted turrets, explosive devices, or armed employees — limited information gathering suggests SCP-XXXX is fully staffed with humans, but the source of said humans is unknown. Despite a constant supply of fresh meat and vegetables, no manner of farm has been discovered, and the source of raw materials is unclear. Similarly, finished gravy is transported to the centre of the complex instead of to any external consumers. The motives of the creator of SCP-XXXX, if such a being exists, are unknown
