May, 1991
Prometheus Labs determines it needs a defense of some kind against giant monsters. It purchases the corpse of the crocosquid and begins an effort to create a cyborg zombie from it.
April 17th, 1998
Researcher Emile Metcalfe is transferred to a Foundation site in order to analyze a Fifthist temple that appeared to worship giant monsters. He thinks in depth about their nature, and what these beasts are.
June 28th, 1998
Prometheus Labs awakens the cyborg crocosquid. Their control mechanisms immediately fail, and it destroys their laboratory before escaping into the ocean.
At the same time, the Foundation site where Researcher Metcalfe was stationed explodes, a pulse of energy released by the dead entity he had been studying.
June 30th, 1998
The crocosquid finally finds another kaiju and devours it whole.
At the same time, various other kaiju begin to wake up across the world, as the resurrection magic used by Prometheus Labs inadvertently wakes them up.
Wilson's Wildlife Solutions finds themselves dealing with their own monster.
July 10th, 1998
