Special Containment Procedures: On-duty Foundation personnel interacting with SCP-4430-affected persons are informed to administer physical comfort, antidepressants, and slow-acting Class G amnestics where possible. Embedded agents in the Scientific Department are doctoring a non-anomalous explanation for SCP-4430 transit and its after-effects in international medical journals and public records, relating it to hypnagogic hallucinations.
Description: SCP-4430 is a semantic hazard connected to the phrase "I'm not okay"; expressing the phrase in verbal or text-based means has a minute chance of causing instant teleportation.
The anomalous effect occurs when any solitary person with chronic melancholy, depression, and suicidal ideation communicates a call for help in any human language. When these conditions are met, persons have a 0.1% chance of undergoing SCP-4430 teleportation. Persons expressing the phrase instantly materialize in the home of any single person within 50 km, with the following properties:
- Type-B personality traits.
- Middle-class economic standing.
- Ownership of a domesticated animal, such as a dog or cat.
- No current educational, extracurricular, employment-related, or family-related responsibilities.
- Loneliness.
33 minutes and 33 seconds later, persons materialize back at their original location, after which both parties continue previous activities as though no changes occurred. The elapsed time may extend if a sense of tension persists beyond the time frame. Both parties involved in SCP-4430 universally report mental clarity, feelings associated with friendship, and lower stress levels.
Analytics Management is of the opinion that experiences similar to SCP-4430 are inadequate in promoting mental health improvements and may, in fact, exacerbate depressive thoughts.
