Description: SCP-4340 designates a minor compulsive memetic found within crystalline mineral quartz intended for sale in jewellery retailers.

In MONTH 20XX, a Toronto-local public Foundation Site received abnormality reports from persons who had purchased quantities of quartz in the past month. Affected individuals claimed to have been drawn to the mineral while in a local jeweller and felt a strong euphoria afterward. Within a week of having bought the quartz, persons claim to have felt symptoms of either digestive or circulatory infection. In one instance, a person was confirmed to have contracted pneumonia, and after being hospitalized, claimed no knowledge of how they received the mineral.
