Special Containment Procedures:

Description: SCP-4341 is a set of five octahedral mechanical devices, approximately 10m in width and constructed from a beryllium bronze alloy. Each device has a cathode-ray tube computer monitor embedded in one of its faces, which display a timer counting down to a future date (UTC standard). On a completion of a countdown, the timer closes and the following message is displayed:

TIME OF EVENT REACHED.
UNLOCK INITIATED.
WE BLINDED THE MIND'S EYE BUT ITS BLADE STAYS RESOLUTE.
ENGAGING.

At this point a 4341-ÉLIX Event begins. The content of the events are highly variable, but in all cases involve the mass manifestation of hazardous memetic or ontokinetic anomalies (designated Threat Entities), alongside humanoid spectral entities (SCP-4341-Ψ) that emerge from the SCP-4341 instances. SCP-4341-Ψ are psionic and capable of generating arrays of experimental armor and weaponry. In all cases, the entities engage in direct combat against the manifested threats.

Events cease when all threats are neutralized, prompting the SCP-4341-Ψ to reenter their respective SCP-4341 instance. Afterwards a new timer initiates.

The SCP-4341 instances are primarily positioned near high importance Foundation containment sites, either in the vicinity of site entrances or within subterranean containment wings. Locations and timer details are as follows:

SCP-4341-1: Central Containment Site-19, 41m east of Entrance Point Alpha and buried underground. Two timers were set for 25/03/2001 and 14/09/2006, with the current timer set for 31/12/2026.

SCP-4341-2: Research Site-45, 30m north of the E-BLOCK high-risk containment area. One timer was set for 05/08/2005 and the current timer is set for 10/07/2026.

SCP-4341-3: Infohazard Reliquary Site-█/█. As per Memetics Division protocols on Site-█/█, information on the site and SCP-4341-3 is solely restricted to the personnel stationed at Site-█/█.

SCP-4341-4: The proposed location for Observational Site- $$i$$ , a planned site intended to monitor noosphere¹ activity through networks of informational and psionic anomalies. SCP-4341-4 has experienced the most activity out of all instances, with timers for 09/10/2003, 06/05/2013, and 14/03/2017; the present one is set for 11/12/2026.

SCP-4341-5: The thoracic cavity of O5-6, grafted into their mediastinum.² Nanofiber electrical wires link the device to their internal nervous system and replace multiple nerve lines leading to the cerebral cortex. A single timer is set for 31/12/2026. [REDACTED BY O5 ORDER].

On the face opposite to the CRT screen, each instance has a message engraved on it, written in English and encrypted in Encoding Standard 3.03EE.³ All messages are the same with the exception of that on SCP-4341-5. Decrypted engraving content is available in Addendum.4341.3.

Information on suspected SCP-4341 origins is restricted to O5 Council members.

SCP-4341-1 through SCP-4341-4:

Foundation, if you can read this text, then we won. We've sealed the cracks they crawled through and, unless they somehow evaded our lances, you will never know what they were. However, your ability to read this also means that we failed. We couldn't seal every crack left. The timers' presence means the last sights our prognosticators got, right before their collective eye turned to white noise, are correct: they will still bleed through.

This is not your concern, though. We have a single request to make. It's simple, and we know you can follow it no matter what:

Don't interfere.

We didn't die in 199θ' only for you to repeat the mistakes that brought us there. Don't research us, don't fight alongside us, don't try to interrupt us. Don't try to map out the cracks either. Ignore us and don't follow.

It's exactly what they want to have happen.
