Day 1
Today marks my arrival to Exoplanet 2X01-3489 as the conclusion to my Xenoarchaeology apprenticeship. According to our deep-space satellite, there once was sapient life here. I am to figure out as much about them as possible.
This planet already amazes me— the plantlife and rare sights of fauna… they're so different compared to my home. I think that even the grandest education couldn't prepare someone for this. It also couldn't prepare one for all the work that goes into setting up camp.
I had a bit of trouble setting up the organic recycler— at first it seemed to reject all of the leaves that I'd gathered, but it appears that the issue was the latch. I managed to print out a spare and switch it out, but it was quite the scare.
I've set up right near a large site, likely a village. But before I approach, I need to learn about this planet… the way that its nature works. Tomorrow I will try and find
