Special Containment Procedures: Phone calls worldwide are to be monitored for key paratropes1 and key phrases2 If key phrases are mentioned, linguistic analysis is to monitor the call for potential matches, and alert Foundation staff after five matches. Foundation staff are then to listen in order to try and confirm the veracity of the call as an SCP-000 incident.

Description: SCP-0000 are anomalous phone calls made between the hours of 11:00 PM and 3:00 AM, typically so that they would be answered by victims in the course of their employment. The initial phone calls to a victim are seemingly calls that a victim would be required to answer, although they have no actual source. All attempts to discover the source of an SCP-0000 call have failed, and it can call regardless of actual phone connection or airplane mode.
SCP-0000 will initially allow victims to decline the call, but will continue calling back until the victim answers. There will be a few minutes between calls at first, but after half an hour or so this will have shortened to only seconds. SCP-0000 will only stop at 3:00 AM or upon a victim answering the phone.

Addendum: On October 31st 2025, SCP-0000 began an attack on Nils Sorrenson, a resident of Trollhättan. Mobile Task Force MTF Mu-13 ("Ghostbusters") was in the city after having recovered and contained an instance of SCP-███, and was able to quickly come to Nils's defense. It had long been suspected that SCP-0000 was a spectral entity of some kind, and Mu-13 was able to quickly validate this hypothesis. Although this information did allow them to stop SCP-0000, they were able to confirm, through extensive consultation with a Foundation paleontologist, that SCP-0000 was an adult Shaochilong maortuensis.
