Chapter II.XII

[Captain Esau is going to report that this is the, like, fourth time they've caught this single thing. Fae tells her that there's no paperwork to prove that. Maybe that's its ability, continuously appearing back in nature. Esau says that if that's the case they should bring it up to the Supervisors, that's definitely outside their pedigree. Faeowynn resists that.]

[Faeowynn is searching the Library with her guide again, trying to get a book on how to stop something that is recursive (he's come up so much, we absolutely need to make a good character for this guide guy — though since he got mad at her before, this might be a different guy?), and Faeowynn is going to bring up these odd occurrences. The guide says she might have something a bit more insidious than just that recursive thing. "What do you mean?" He thinks for a second. "Keep me updated and I'll tell you. I've got a hunch but I don't want to worry you if it's not true, and I've only got two data points. Instead, I'll just recommend a book you might need in the future." He picks out something about memory. "Thanks," Fae says, gives him a look, and scene ends.]

[Faeowynn is going through a locker she has at work to keep things in, and finds a note. It has an address on it, and asks: "Check sooner rather than later, and bring as many people as you want to feel safe. Do not tell the Supervisors. — Anonymous". She has a strange moment where she "remembers" Anon, but… kind of… barely. She can't remember him well, and she doesn't know what his deal was.]
