there are SO many posts like this on r/nosleep but what if they just. didn't break the rules. and the post was about how skin-crawling shit keeps happening to their neighbors. that's still scary!
your cool neighbor who brought you a plate of brownies when you moved in and pet sits your dog when you visit your parents once a month is dead and you don't know why but it was probably a monster
Okay like for real. Parawatch article about how you were told to never look into the building's courtyard (the exterior windows are okay) between 4am and 5pm. You've never done it. It's never happened to you. But this is the third time in the two years you've been living here that you've heard the most terrible screaming from the courtyard in the morning, and you almost looked outside but caught yourself at the last minute and at 5am four of your neighbors had been flayed and their skins were hanging from the lamposts with the corpses in a pile underneath and this has happened again and again
