Item #: SCP-4731
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: The tunnels leading to SCP-4731 have been sealed with concrete and triple-redundant layers of blast-resistant plating. Construction plans for Lunar Area 32 Sub-Level Theta have been modified, with entrances to the original excavated regions sealed under Aleph-Priority Containment Protocol. Entrance requires Level 5/4731 Special Access Permissions. Following Incident TYCHO, no lunar excavations approaching a depth of 20km are to be attempted.
Description: SCP-4731 is an opening 15m in radius. The anomaly is dug into the lunar crust at a depth of 10km, located at the deepest point reached by excavation crews for Sub-Level Theta.
The anomaly was discovered 17/12/2022, when contact with the active tunneling team abruptly dropped. Assuming anomalous interference, MTF γ-4 ("Blondebeard's Crew") was dispatched, entering and descending the tunnels excavated by Team V. SCP-4731 was found at the bottom of the last created tunnel.
Initial observation found that SCP-4731 seemed to enter a dark, cavernous space, the size of which was unclear. Six tests conducted with autonomous drones found that any equipment descending 11m past the anomaly encounter a region of extreme magnetic flux; electronics destabilize and the drones invariably plummet, reaching a depth of 35m before ceasing to emit visual light or any form of EM radiation. Observation at a safe depth beneath SCP-4731, facing upwards, found that the opening does not exist on an apparent underside to the lunar crust, instead surrounded by further empty space. The only light detected were ultraviolet emissions, arranged in a grid pattern with slight curvature. The origins of this are unknown.
On 20/12/2022, long-exposure equipment detected a continuous emission of visible light, originating past the 35m cutoff depth. To improve detection, a Longhand 9-B Portable Astronomical Telescope was outfitted into SCP-4731. The telescope then observed the emission source for for a span of two months.
Primary findings are as follows:
- Light from the emission source (Point A) was a combination of visible light, infrared light up to 1mm in wavelength, and ultraviolet light between 100—400nm. Of three three forms, yellow-range visible light held the strongest concentration.
- Emissions from additional points surrounding Point A. Based on the substantially lower light quantities, these are believed to be reflections from Point A's light, rebounding from small objects. Six of these points have been confirmed to exist, and observation of the innermost one (Point B) suggests that each are in orbital motion around Point A.
- Trace flashes of light, possibly reflections from other indiscernible orbiting bodies.
- Light matching an absorption spectra for a nitrogen and oxygen gas mixture on the third orbiting point (Point D).
- Ultraviolet emissions in a grid pattern. These are only present around Point D.
Research concluded on 01/03/2023, when, due to a previously undetected structural fault, the beams supporting the telescope sheared. No recovery could be attempted before the equipment passed the 11m mark below SCP-4731.
Incident TYCHO: On 24/06/2023, northern hemisphere observatories reported the instantaneous manifestation of luminous masses in the vicinity of the Ursa Minor constellation. Each possess sizesof 60 to 200 square degrees in the night sky, and have an average of the spectra emitted by all stars formerly observable in their areas. Foudation Astronomy Department observatories simultaneously witnessed the change and sent an emergency alert on a TAV/III-Class Cosmic Restructuring.
Visuals of the masses are recorded below:
| Designation |

| TAV-4 |
Indistinct amorphous forms. Patterns resembling an intestinal tract and hand are noted. |
| TAV-5—7 |
Three separate jagged masses; areas are approximately the same. |
| TAV-8 |
Disparate jagged masses, surrounding a central, fragmented structure. |

At the present moment, preparations for the global revision of astronomical texts under SCP-3475 Project Darkwalker are underway. Adjustments to cultural views on lunar exploration, handling of the TAV objects in historical records, and Foundation applications of SCP-4731 are being considered.

SCP-4143 - In Short: We Won
Before I start, I would like to apologize for all the lives you will have forgotten.
Item #: SCP-4143
I wish we could've kept some scraps of the golden era. The pact was being strained to its breaking point in trying to do so, though, and there were no alternatives — we had to leave it in the ashes with the rest.
Object Class: None
I'd also apologize for the knife I stabbed through all future Foundation servers, but falsification is looming so let me cut to the chase:
By the time you read this, you'll be safe.
Special Containment Procedures: As SCP-4143 does not affect documentation beyond this file, the anomaly is considered self-containing. Edits to file content requires unanimous authorization from the 4143/INFOSEC Head Research Team. Attempts to alter or remove SCP-4143 text are forbidden.
There will have been no SCP-4143, no realness plagues, no cross-reality collapse, no memories that there even was a grander reality adjacent to ours. Fragments of SCP-4143 will be left but those are easy to handle. The world will be like it was before, or, rather, as close to its original state as we could get it. Veil won't come back, though I'm not such anyone will remember it in the first place. Either way you'll now be in a better world.

The cause of the database error affecting the Object Class is still under investigation. The 4143/INFOSEC Team is considering it to be a possible property of the main SCP-4143 phenomena, but no confirmation for this exists.

No other anomalies will be assigned to the SCP-4143 slot.
Description: SCP-4143 are strings of text that manifest within the primary documentation of the SCP-4143 designation. While viewers can recognize the presence of the text, relative string lengths, and the presence of information, the text is anomalously incomprehensible. No informational content can be obtained from the strings through any method.

No anomalies have ever been assigned as SCP-4143.

In short: we won.
I don't need to hope you'll live better lives than we did.
I know you will.
No abnormalities were noticed with the chamber's interior composition, fully matching the concrete the structure was built with. The sole irregularities were series of cracks and dents in the walls, potentially produced from the repeated application of blunt force.
The chamber was found to be empty on opening.
SCP-4143 - Multi-ꙮcular
Item #: SCP-4143
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Foundation implants within the Unicode Consortium are to monitor any actions taken towards character U+A66E and, if deemed appropriate, detain those involved. Due to the variance in potential SCP-4143 events, incidents involving the anomaly are to be handled on a case by case basis.
Monitoring of the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius is to continue indefinitely. Any hidden surveillance camera that experiences faults in its viewing must be removed, incinerated, and replaced. The 1429 Psalms Document must not be interacted with.
Containment personnel are to assume that all actions they take will be met with scrutiny.
Description: SCP-4143 is a series of anomalous phenomena surrounding the rare Cyrillic letter Multiocular O (ꙮ). The letter is a variant on the Cyrillic O character, originating from certain religious manuscripts containing the phrase «серафими многоꙮчитїи» ("many-eyed seraphim"), and has no recorded widespread usage. Multiocular O was added to Unicode as character U+A66E in 2008.
It is not known when SCP-4143 first initiated, but anomalous occurrences are noted to have increased since Unicode inclusion. No common pattern is known to exist between events.
Testing has found no sign of inherent anomalous properties on Multiocular O.
Addendum.4143.K: Timeline of Events, Pre-2008
- c. 1429: A Cyrillic copy of the Book of Psalms is written in a monastery near modern-day Sergiyev Posad, Moscow Oblast, Russia, containing the first use of Multiocular O in the phrase "many-eyed seraphim."
- c. 1400s-1500s: Various religious manuscripts containing Multiocular O are produced by monasteries within the region of modern-day Russia. Based on the bodies surrounding specific monastery ruins and the high damage to manuscripts, it is believed that these monasteries were attacked.
- c. 1800s: Personal journals kept by monks in the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius use Multiocular O to denote a "soft, wax-like flame" repeatedly sighted in the monastery halls. Interaction with the flame was consistently avoided.
- c. 1928: Yefim Karskiy documents the use of Multiocular O in the 1429 Psalms Document, describing it in a scientific report published that year. Based on journal accounts he turned compelled to destroy the document on several occasions but consistently decided against it, finding it "worthwhile to not interfere." Despite the Soviet government's closure of the Trinity Lavra at the time, the document was rapidly transferred into its storage.
- 28/04/1931: A self-professed colleague of Yefim Karskiy breaks into the Trinity Lavra. Bystanders claimed he continually ranted about Karskiy's "confused" vision and searched for the 1429 Document, but was apprehended by guards. No information on his identity has been preserved.
- 31/04/1992: A wax-like flame is reported around Yefim Karskiy's gravesite. On investigation for signs of anomalous activity, Karskiy's cadaver is found to be lacking eyes and orbital cavities in the skull, possessing a smooth sheet of bone in their place.
Addendum.4143.L: Testimony from Evan Waterman, Unicode Consortium Developer
Image sources:
Things to do:
- Continually personify Multiocular O more and more
- Ramp up body horror: Multiocular O created to oversee the birth of a seraphim. Wants to ensure that the gestation is not interrupted.
Are you sure about that, Researcher Naumꙮv?

It helps that surreality is wound tight around an alternate temporal axis, too. Unmoor it and you send the events that intersect with our reality away.
